The center stand mount to the motor block. This is a particular problem with the PCX125. Honda has yet to own up to it, but it is interesting to note that they have beefed up the mount for the PCX150. There are various other threads on this forum about that.

The later esp engined 125's have been beefed up as well. It was only the early bikes that had this problem.

Early models also suffered from a spate of duff batteries, replaced under warranty and there was a recall for a wrongly routed battery drain which rotted the main fuel line potentially setting the thing on fire.
Can't remember seeing any genuine problems reported with an eSP or a 150

It is addictive and can lead you into harder stuff, just look at how many of us have succumbed to the temptation of the Forza...

seat latch not closing. see previous posts on tweeking the 2 screws.

I like the back seat hump! you guys are always complaining about it. I don't think it's an issue at all.

Paint on the wheels not very tough, be carefull when washing, light soap and no hard brushes.

Impossible to adjust the valves without taking the whole damn thing apart!

I've read that the "park" brake on the 125 is finicky, doesn't hold as it should. Requires adjustment till it does it's job. Some owners don't use it. I haven't, yet. Never parked on an incline. It seems to grab when tested on level ground but will it "Hold?" Not worried about it, but it "should work." It's suppose to.
To those with a 150, did I read that the parking brake was/is improved?

I adjusted the nut at the back left of the rear wheel to tighten the rear brake, and that allowed the brake lock to work. But still, I never use it.

Had the m/c dealer look at the parking brake when the scooter was back in to get the rack installed. Told the service writer that the brake did not hold at all and to adjust it if possible--but leave it alone if making it work would cause the brake to drag.

Works fine now, though it it takes an application of the brake with depressing the brake handle button and then a second quick application and release of the brake lever to fully disengage.

I use the parking brake whenever parked in public. It's good insurance that somebody messing with the scooter or jostling it accidentally won't roll it off the stand.

Best,
Bash On!

Bash On, could you explain more about "drag" please? Do you hear this, feel this or both? What causes it? What corrects it? If discovered, is it an easy fix?
This is me coming to a stop: I always apply my rear brake first followed by my front brake (thus using both). My parking brake does work, although I did adjust the nut in the past (I had noticed it on the last two threads of the adjustment screw. That spooked me, so I rolled the nut on more about 2-3 more threads).
So where would "drag" enter into the picture? Or would it? Guess you can tell I'm confused, just a weeee bit :|

This is a good thread & I do apologize for going off topic a bit.
