Interesting! thanks for sharing. looks like the average PCX gets 97 -- 102 mpg. I'm at 106 and decreasing towards the 102 mark! going faster as my comfort zone increases makes my fuel mileage decrease.

Mine is low but I believe was higher before I changed oil. I think I may have overfilled by a small bit. Is that a possibility?

Mine is low because it is all city driving with hard on the throttle starts just to stay with the pack of bikes at each light. If you don't do it, you become a hazard on the road that will either be in an accident or cause an accident.

Thing to note is regarding MPG, one is UK and one is US, the amount will vary!

That's 91.594 to be exact, I've got higher MPG in the past but that's approx. my average.

How are you converting between US and UK? I thought a gallon is a gallon but we have higher octane over here (in the UK)? Am I wrong?

No, octanes are roughly the same. The UK gallon is a lot bigger than the US gallon, see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gallon

I think I like my mpg in imperial. I converted my 78 mpgUS to imperial and got about 93 mpgI

Holy crap, that's unusually bad MPG. Have you checked to see if your spark plug is nasty or if your valves are off?

Yep, I'm on Fuelly.com too. I managed 132 Uk mpg once and am now somewhere between 115-120 on a regular basis. If only it were a little cheaper to have dealer serviced.

Haven't checked valves but changed spark plug at today at 1700 miles

Well I may have noticed one problem. I usually fill to the brim. I noticed that after that it drains down through a small hose to the ground. So how do I fill it up exactly?

Fill to the brim carefully and don't spill any.

Finally riding again. 116.3 miles with 1.280 gallons US = 90.9 mpgUS. Still 0C cold and using my heated gear. My fuel economy dropped quite a bit when I put the new Michelin City Grip on the back.

For whatever reason, Fuelly is mis-stating my milage on my banner. When I am on the site, I see that my average is 91 mpg-us, but on my banner, it is making me look like a fuel-splashing speed demon or something. I have e-mailed Fuelly tech support and they allegedly fixed it, but, alas, at least as of right now, the disconnect still exists.
