Humped?

Anybody else got used to their hump yet?

It used to bother me, especially on longer rides, but now I'm not even aware of it. This seems to have happened without me even noticing it - maybe July or August was possibly the last time I noticed it - it only gives me a problem when it gets my backside wet after its been raining.

Maybe Honda were right all along. :|

I reckon it softens up after a while.
Mine has never been a problem, I've always been able to get comfy enough.

Same here, mines never bothered me. Feel secure on the seat with it.

At 6'1" I think it would be more comfy if I could sit farther back on the seat.

Also 6'1" and could sit farther back, but its not worth the money to move it right now... If the seat ever tears I would probably remove the hump while im at it but I can live with it for now.

I never understood the fuss over it, it holds me in the seat well. I'm shorter though -- only 5'10".

I'm 5'10" too. The hump could become a real pain for me after an hour or so in the saddle - but no more thankfully.

Maybe it's leg length or where you place your feet that makes the difference rather than height?
I have my toes where the join is between the flat section and the angled forward section like this.
Riding like this it's just not possible for me to be comfortable.

I'll sometimes ride like the second example you give if I'm on a long, boring road like a dual carriage way. You don't get the chance to move around so much on these roads and your body gets stiff and you need to stretch your legs a bit. Mostly though I sit like you.

6 foot here, I tried it without the hump and liked it at first although if you slide too far back your basically sitting on metal, after a while i put it back on and liked the way it makes you feel more secure when accelerating...the only problem is the wet arse, a regular feature here in scotland ! why honda didnt make it 'waterproof' from the start is a bit puzzling.

I can't get comfortable in the first position -- I always ride like the second picture, with my feet on the incline. That might make a difference...

Im with gn2 on the riding position hence why i reupholstered my seat.Sure my mods to the seat have ruined the clean lines of the pcx but boy is that seat comfortable. I can sit wherever i want now and the extra foam means it is like sitting on a sofa everyday on the way to work.
