Wow, that is cheap for a Shoei. I don't think I've even seen one for under$350 before that.

bit off topic but still Shoei.. I bought my Shoei Qwest in Jan 2012 and the small lever that locks the visor has snapped off. Apparently its cheap and easy to replace but I spent a fair bit on the helmet (you only get one head after all) and I kinda think it should last longer than 18 months... Worth complaining or replace and carry on?....

Hmm..I have a Shoei Qwest as well and about same age. I know the lever you're mentioning (use it all the time). Mine is fine, no signs of cracking. I'm not sure about the warranty, do you have the info? If not maybe I'll look around for mine. Might be eligible for replacement? (O; I Love this lid!

I've got all the receipts when I bought scooter and gear at the same time but can't find the helmet warranty.. If you have yours I'd appreciate any info.. As I say no big deal but thought it worth asking the forum!

5 yr. warranty. Maybe worth printing? Good you have your receipts!
