Diffrent OEM parts numbers on Front Pulley but same part

Post by mandomfriman »

Hi does anybody know why Honda has Diffrent Parts numbers on same part?

Example front inner pulley

22110-K2S-N00 Click 160 2023 700thb
22110-K97-T00 PCX 150 2018 250thb
22110-K3A-V00 Giorna 2023 200thb

This pulley is same but it has 3 diffrent part numbers also diffrent price.

is this a way honda makes more money?

Any ideas

Honda may reassign part numbers for each model regardless of multiple bikes using the same part.
I would think that would be especially true on, perhaps, an engine that uses many of the same parts as a previous generation of a similar engine.
Either way, every part I've looked up for the PCX is remarkably inexpensive... when compared to the Yamaha and Suzuki motorcycles I've owned.
