Latched seat with cable disconnected... Ouch..

I changed out my fuel pump and put the whole bike back together again. But I didn't reconnect the seat latch of my 2021 PCX to the cable.

I don't know how to release the seat to correct the problem. I ordered a new seat with the thought of cutting up the current one to get back in and fix the problem. I (did) use the trunk daily.
Anyone else have to do this, or found a way to unlatch the seat some other way?
