Help 164cc Yuminashi-KiT

Post by Pcx2019 »

hello thanks for the recording!

my name is Marcel 27 I live in Austria/Vienna.

I have the following problem, namely my PCX gets hot as soon as I have reached 400 kilometers. I always burn out the head gasket. I also bonded the head gasket with hondabond. what can it be? I would now like to reinstall 164cc but with a 125cc cylinder head and original camshaft my setup: 164cc big bore cylinder 150cc cylinder head 170cc - 180cc injector 30mm case 8.6 camshaft with lever

Thanks

Hello Marcel!

I had installed the Yuminashi 164cc upgrade with 150cc head on my 2019 Click 125i about six months ago. Initially I had overheating problems. Mechanic tore the head back off and there were signs of coolant transfer into the cylinder. Came to find out the head was not flat! Sanded down the head, heat softened the copper head gasket and made it unflat, and reinstalled with a good gasket sealer. PROBLEM SOLVED!

On a further note, lately my overheat light comes on when I idle for an extended time. If I rev it up the light goes out. FYI I am using the high pressure radiator cap.
