Honda Forza 125 v 350

Post by Scotty125 »

Hi guys, after having my forza 125 for a year now I’ve decided to go for the bigger engined 350.

My question is can I expect more in acceleration and top end speed?

My daily commute consists of b roads and motorway driving, I just feel the 125 struggles at motorway speeds..

I am not familiar with the 125 but my experience with my 2015 300 is it is great on back roads, speed wise. It will do freeways but will lag down on serious uphill rides. Based on this I would assume that the 350 would be even better. So my educated guess is you would be better off with the 350! Good luck.

thanks for the reply,
Overtaking on motorways? Any issues or is there plenty there to get you by safely?
That’s where my 125 struggles, obviously drivers sees a scooter passing them and they inevitably speed up the buggers!!

Also accelerating, are they quick off the mark?

Quick off the mark and no problems overtaking at motorway speeds. I also have a PCX which I find much better in town, but also ride two big V twins, Yamaha BT1100 and MT-01.
Other rides
Yamaha MT-01, Yamaha BT1100, Yamaha WR250R, Ducati 900 GTS, Honda VFR 750FV, Honda Forza 350

Picked up my forza 350 yesterday.
First impressions are very good.
Accelerations a lot quicker, and had a wee spell on the motorway on the way home.
Never went above half throttle as it was just out the show room, but sat at 70 mph no problem on the motorway
350 does feel heavier though and I’m sure the seats slightly taller. Need to look into this, although I could still touch the ground comfortably.
Initial ride, I think the rides lot stiffer, more motorbike like if I’m honest. Maybe because the bikes heavier.
overall first impression very good, usual Honda build quality and the ride is sure footed and very comfortable..
cooling fan coming on will take a bit of getting used too though!!
