Forza 2019 seating position – backache

I used to ride sports bikes (although have done over 20,000km on a PCX 150) and while I very much like my 2nd gen 2019 Forza 300 find the very upright stance gives me back pain on long rides. One theory that I agreed with was if bars on sport bike were not extremely low they were fairly comfortable – your weight was taken both down spine to seat and arms onto grips. I can see no way to drop the handlebars – it’s a welded tube and switch housings need to line up. Don’t want to jack up seat as I am slightly height challenged. Any ideas?

Back [no pun] in the day, Riders wore a wide leather belt to relieve that problem. Maybe more useful on longer rides.
