It is interesting the money conversion rates.

You give 1458 THB - $55.29 Cdn but in Canada Bikerzbits considers it to be $71.53 Canadian dollars which is about 30% higher.

Still a good price and I am continually amazed at how fast stuff from almost half way around the world gets here with a very low shipping price also.

As an example. I was in the Yukon Territory in a tent in basically in the middle of nowhere.

The campsite had cell phone service.

My cell phone battery was too old to hold a long charge.

It was dead every morning.

I ordered an eBay battery late at night in my tent from China for a very low price.

It was at my home in Hope, BC (near Vancouver) before I got there from the Yukon.

I am still using that battery several years later in my OLD iPhone 6. It works very well.

The currency conversion was of the time I posted. I use an app on my fone, which is pretty close.
Does the 71 bucks include shipping ?

I rode up to Ashcroft to look at the forest fire damage. Lots of fire, some areas burnt but not much damage. There have been fires in this area for thousands of years. It is still there.

On my way back I hit 162,384 kilometers on the gauge. That makes 100,000 miles for me on the 2014 Honda Forza 300 Canadian Edition Maxi Scooter.

I bought my scooter used after the government insurance company wrote it off as a wreck. A back yard rebuilder fixed it up and I got it at 1450 km on the gauge.

The original Asian owner did not even get the scooter broken in before he crashed it. The Forza 300 is big heavy pig. It is not a beginners scooter.

Some day I want to figure out the odometer error. It works off the rear wheel. I have had the wrong size tire on most of the time.

I had the original 140/70-13 tire on first. I had a series of Michelin & Heidenau 150/70-13 tires for most of its life. I currently have a 140/60-13 size tire. My next rear will be a Continental 150/70-13 ContiScoot.

I have spent just over $18,000 Canadian so far to have a lot of fun. I want a refund.

I just figured out my Olympia Riding Pants have 220,417 km of use. Not quite because I have ridden almost naked a few times. But that is 136,960 miles.

They are still usable but I think I will spray them down because I have not ridden in the rain lately.

I went on a scooter ride through a big accident scene. I got some metal in my worn out rear tire. It scared me into installing my ContiScoot 150/70-13.

It was hard to get on the wheel. I also installed a new rear brake disk & pads.

My belt had about 40,000 km on it so I installed a new Chinese belt. It also got a new air filter.

The pads need to wear in. Forza rear brake calipers are crap.

The tire seems to be ok. No drama.

My old body hurts. I rode to Walmart in the rain.

I rode around on Sunday. I first went up to Manning Park. The brakes appear to be sticking.

I rode over to the Coquihalla thinking the brakes would wear in with some high speed use.

It was hard getting up the steep hill. When I got my Masala Tea at the brake check food truck I found a piece of wood and gave my front and rear brakes cylinders a few hard taps. Things might have snapped into alignment.

More test rides might be needed. Any excuse for a ride.

My engine is starting to use oil after 100,000 miles of just adding oil at the oil change.

I did not have to add much. The whole engine uses very little to begin with.

I better start paying attention.

One of my LED headlights is giving problems. It flickers. Or is barely on.

The 99 cent switch for my front auxiliary LED floods has broken. I ordered the $4 switch but it of such poor quality I don't want to use it.

I have run out of money. My pension is very small, not enough to pay my rent. My big pile of money has gone. The price of gas is annoying.

I am enjoying the Contiscoot rear tire. Just a solid tire with no drama. Seems to be wearing quickly. If I get some money I might get to see if it lasts.

I need another relative to die and leave me money. The rich ones don't like me.

I rode up to Spences Bridge to look at the forest fire damage. The rain is going to cause a few mudslides. Part of the highway might drop into the river a thousand feet below. It is going to be a dangerous place to ride in the rain. Almost desert there anyway. There was a herd of big horny sheep looking at me over a fence.

It has cooled down to normal. I need to get off my fat ass.

I am scheduled for a prostate cancer CT scan next month. The doctor had her finger up my ass and said, "Oh no". She said she needed pictures. So I get to worry about probably nothing for a couple of months waiting for results.

She also said my penis is too long and is making plans to cut parts off. I was afraid to ask which parts.

I made my Forza jealous the other day. KTM were having a demo day at my local dealer.

I first rode the KTM 390 Adventure, a Duke 390 with a few extra pieces.

I had to remember how to shift gears.

I did like the motorcycle but I have no money.

The second bike was the KTM 200 Duke.

I was worried about the 200 as the demo ride had some 100 kmph freeway riding.

I took the 200 up to its max speed of 120 kmph. It was stable.

The 200 was fun but the 390 would be more practical for me.

After a couple of years of riding a scooter, I appreciate not having to shift gears. The Forza is always in the RIGHT gear.

I have ridden a few Honda's with DCT and that is good also.

The naked KTM's did blast me around a bit. The high shield on my Forza makes for a gentle ride.

KTM's seem to be a hundred pounds lighter than the competition. Or why is every one else so heavy???

Kept my last motorcycle [guessing 6 months] after getting the PCX. I rode it so infrequently, it just seemed
sensible to sell it. Have no plans to go back...... although, might be nice to scratch that itch once in awhile.

Doesn't cost any extra to stamp OEM info on a crap fake chinese belt.
I'd buy at least Taiwanese belts.
Congrats on your accomplishment!
Hope your situation improves.

I am recovering from yesterday's silly ride. I meant to go on Saturday but I had to recover from Friday's silly ride.

On Friday I rode up the Coquihalla, Highway Thru Hell, to Coldwater Road. The Larson Hill fire was still burning in spots. It had come very close to the highway at times. The Zopkios food truck was running so I had fries and coffee. The Britton Creek food truck was still shut down. What a mess.

On Sunday I rode up to Cache Creek. A lot of the ride was through burnt out areas. I had a chicken wrap and then continued over to Lillooet. Lots of burnt out areas there as well. On the way I passed a big black bear trying to get in to a couple of cars. I did not stop.

On the way back I passed through the almost completely burnt out village of Lytton. There are a few houses still standing but not many.

I passed a group of sport bikes at the side of the road. And then they passed me later. We all stopped for ice cream in Boston Bar.

I left first and they never did catch up to me. They complained that their sport bikes were very uncomfortable. I find my Forza with the tall screen to be very comfortable.

I have been hearing noises in my bedroom for a few days. The guy next door died and I thought his relatives were cleaning out his place.

I looked but there were no people.

I next thought that the mice under my mobile home were plotting to kill me because of the poison corn I leave them.

I decide to put my hearing aids on and find the noise. It turns out that the internet weather station above my bedroom had a shrieking wind gauge.

I lowered the pole and squirted WD40 into it. A neighbour helped me get it up. It seems quiet now.

It looks like we may get some rain. The rain will help with the fires but I expect quite a few mudslides.

Just a quick update on the cancer story.

I got a phone call from the real doctor yesterday to tell me that the cancer diagnosis was totally WRONG.

I am hearing impaired and there was some confusion. But she was cute.

The lady doing the exam was just helping out while the real doctor was on holiday.

She probably was a doctor, no idea if she was a specialist.

It was almost 4 months all told. I still can't pee straight. I am not going back.

My 2014 Honda Forza 280cc with 170,000 km on it was getting a little loud.

I am hearing impaired so it did not bother me.

One of the neighbours was slightly complaining.

I ordered a copper exhaust ring gasket for the head.

I installed it today. It took me a while but I think it is in correctly.

I went for a test ride but my mpg meter seems to be stuck on 25.1 km per liter.

I will use up some more gas and reset Trip B (?)

I also inspected my brake pads while I had the muffler off. With my crappy vision (62 years old) I cannot check the pads on the bike. Too much brain damage.

Pads were about 50% with about 7700 km on them. OK but not great.

We are back into the rainy season. The 5000 foot mountains around my home have new snow on them.

I had a coffee at Tims and bought another lottery ticket. Waste of time. Still can't pee straight.

I had to ride to make sure Trip A worked.

I did a timed ride north to Skihist. I illegally rode through Lytton to get gas.

On the way home I rode through the RCMP Conservation Officer road block. They did not even ask me to stop. I had a two inch knife hidden in my glove box.

While I was waiting for my Forza with the new exhaust gasket to burn off my greasy finger prints, I noticed that my clutch & belt was now noisier than the engine.

I leave the hearing aids out when I ride. I accidentally left them in one day. Getting my helmet off was painful. I had to let the hearing aids fall in the dirt. The hearing aids cost more than my Forza. That was scary.

My little ride up to Lytton was scary at times. I had the whole TransCanada Highway ALL to my self. Where was everyone? Was the highway closed? It was my own personal race track. Still very dangerous with many blind corners.

I stopped at Hells Gate and looked up at the cliff. There were a lot of loose boulders and new cracks. A 7 foot boulder had come down a while back at Ferrabee. It was still at the side of the road. It bounced over the 30 foot barrier.

I was tempted to pull some of the loose rock out of the cliff but I could have been buried just by removing a pebble. Dumb idea.

My mpg was pretty crappy. I think every time I remove the brake caliper the pads have to cut new grooves before I get better mpg.

Winter is coming once again. I watched another episode of Highway Thru Hell. I have met most of the characters on the show. Some I have known for many years even if they don't know me. Jamie towed me a few times (bastard but I still love him). Al and his dad helped move Abbotsford Air Show stuff. Others are just people who have been around the community for a while. Most of the wreck sites are places I have been to recently. Some I was there during the recovery.

I need to get my life back together after that Doctor lead me to believe I had prostate cancer. We have too much trust that doctors know what they are doing. The old joke that what do you call the person who graduated with the worst grades in her class. Yes, "Doctor"

It is 5C temperature right now and raining hard. I need someone to bring me donuts and ginger ale.

I tried to put on my Joe Rocket rain pants. I really, really have to suck in the gut to get them done up.

The Forza has almost 171,000 km on it now. It is probably snowing in the mountain passes so I have to stay low now.

I need a front brake rotor but they are expensive and so is the shipping. Almost $200. I am broke.

My Continental scooter tire looks kind of worn out. It will last a while yet but what do I get next. What can I get next?

I need to put insurance on my 4x4 but I am broke. The big pile of money is gone. I lived too long. My ass hurts all the time.
