How to remove top brake light cover on 2021 Forza 350

Hi All,

I've had fun today fitting a Givi SR1187 rack, M5 plate and V56NNMaxia 4 Monokey top box on my brand new Forza 350A.
The Givi rack installation instructions are very vague on what to do, but does give the order of procedures.
To get access the top shock bolts to fix the rack supports you have to remove the body side covers and luggage box. To do that you have to remove the brake light covering plate - and that is not easy..... Not atall like the 300.
So I thought I'd upload a .pdf of how to take that top plate off.

Oh, the other thing I found, and you all probably know this, but those little plastic push in clips - just push the centre in a little bit - don't try to push the pin all the way out.....

Pictures of plate and box fitted to follow. 56litre doesn't look too big! Phew!

Why not the original Honda top box?

Hi John

That's very useful, thanks. Can I ask where you got your Givi rack from, please? Most are shipping from Italy (i.e. extra customs costs and delays), but I've seen one on Ebay https://picclick.co.uk/GIVI-SR1187-HOND ... 59352.html
Sounds quite scary pulling a new scooter apart, especially with expensive Japanese plastic.

Totally understand why you didn't get the Honda boxes (how much????? o_O ) and my dealer can't even get the Honda rack (which ought to be included as standard).

Isn't the latest Forza made in Italy?

My 2014 Forza 300 was made in Thailand. I wonder why they switched?

Accessories aren't available in the UK yet, plus it's a 47 litre and I wanted the biggest, plus it was mega££ plus it's got one of those keyless locks on it which would take up significant space inside.

Givi 56 litres was only £200. Looks really smart.

Not sure it's made in Italy. Supposed to be able to tell from the VIN, but that looks like it's made in a Japan factory. Really confusing.

Got the box, rack and plate all from on Fleabayer - NativeViking. Excellent service - but no discounts :-(
