I am about 6 foot and the Forza is a bit tight for me, so I took off the buttrest to see if that helped. Wanted to gain a couple of inches but leave the scooter so it could be converted back to stock easily if I go to sell it. I gained the inches but sadly the bolt holes were UGLY and would let water in the storage compartment. Anyway I measured the bolts on the seat and went to the local hardware store. I used new bolts with fender washers to cover the holes and protect the seat. Once I was happy with it I painted the bolts with black paint.
Not sure this is for everyone but it worked for me and cost less than 10 bucks AND I can reinstall the factory buttrest at any time.
Hope this helps someone.

UPDATE: I used the Forza all summer and it helped with the space but there is not much padding! Anyway I installed a Medium Airhawk air cushion and that made a huge difference! Easy install and fixed the padding problem.
