Not trying to rain on the parade but a PCX160 is also a 30 inch undermount double bowl stainless steel sink (right hand side).

The are made by a company called FRANKE.

Honda did some event for the coming PCX in Thailand yesterday, though they preferred to keep the colors secret by wrapping the scoot.

The seat looks the same. No rear ABS as far as I can tell. Can't really tell if there's an increased in capacity of the storage under the seat.

Rear disk is welcome, should improve the feel of the brake. Front ABS is great. Better engine (157cc).

Will be released July 2021. Will compete well with the Nmax's market here in Thailand IMO.

They sure did a good job covering up the color. :?

If I was running Honda I would have had a special set of panels made up in clear plastic to reveal the otherwise hidden features of the PCX 160 and give potential buyers something to grin about. If there are concerns about announcing the color offerings in the line up (for whatever reasons) then at least let the consumers see what the PCX is made of. :geek:

I haven't seen the Yamaha SMax being offered in the U.S. for 2021. Just the XMax 300 and Zuma 125.

If Honda brings the new PCX 160 to the U.S. it will have one less model in that displacement range to compete with (Unless Yamaha brings the NMax here).

I misunderstood 7/1/2021 as July but Honda Thailand just released the PCX 160 2021 today. It actually means January 7, 2021

PCX 160 2021 comes in three options

1. Standard (No ABS) $2861
2. ABS Version $3061
3. Hybrid $3578

White standard edition . . . most excellent! :geek:

Having disc brakes on both wheels on the U.S. version would be a plus.

Time will tell . . .. 8)

In the mean time may the vaccinations be plentiful and painless. :D

In the Philippines it seems the new 2021 PCX 160 Standard Version gets the drum rear brake whereas the ABS Version gets the rear disc. :geek:

If I'm wrong I apologize but that's what I've seen so far in my research. :?

You're right! :D

The product page still calls it the PCX 150 but in the specs the engine is declared as the new 156.9cc 4 valve.

Here's another recent video worth a watch . . ..

That said there's a 2021 ADV 150 at my local Honda dealer. The engine is still the 149cc 2 valve. Maybe they'll update it for 2022.

The front disc and rear drum brakes still reign for the North America versions of both the PCX and ADV 150 . I wonder why.

It's good that Honda keep developing the bike. Each of the updates looks better and better.

Out of interest has anyone seen production numbers for each of the variations in model?

Like the rear disc, not so keen now on the front ABS as never had issues with the CBS and much easier and cheaper to maintain.

Just what I have read over the past year from people where the ABS plays up and needs dealer assistance (ok with warranty but many chose to do servicing themselves so warranty becomes void). Easy to replace and fix things with normal pads and CBS, harder to maintain the ABS system.

Having ridden all year round for 6+ years, and with all the absolute a*******s on London roads, the CBS seems to do a good job so not keen on a more complex system. That said, may have to get used to it. Be good to hear feedback over the coming year or so when people buy the new PCX's.
