Which Heated Grips Forza 300

Post by ForzaPete »

Hi
Can anyone advise which heated grips go on a Forza 300?
Dealer ones are expensive and apparently not that great for the price ?
Not sure which Oxford model would fit my scooter :(
Thanks

I have the factory heated grips and for me they function very good,
They have 5 heating positions, that are shown in the dashboard.
I mostly use 3, 4 and 5 were a little to warm at temperatures around 6 - 7 °C in the morning.

There are several brands of stick on heaters that you can install over the existing bars and then slip the factory grips back over them, some with two heat settings. These are very inexpensive. I did this on my bike and they have been working great for years. Looking at my bike other than the handlebar mounted switch you would not know that anything has been modified. If you're looking for the best comfort I would also suggest you get wind guards to help keep the back of your hands warm. Cozy palms with freezing knuckles isn't all that comfortable either.

I went for the Honda integrated kit too, as it just looks better - though to be fair on the dealer, they did try to talk me into the Oxford heated grips as 'they are better' - but no complaints with the Honda heated grips (other than price) and I had them on my previous bike too with no issues.
