So, I've seen a lot of things, but I've never had a bucket truck throw a cooler at me before. that's new.

Did you ever find out what company(truck) the cooler belonged to ?

No, unfortunately the truck was unmarked. The police were called and I gave them the video, but it's not even possible to make out the plate in my mirror. Crazy stuff though.

Absolutely agree! If you miss something (as in almost hitting another vehicle), then you must have hit it. Think about it. The term should be IMO a near hit or a miss hit. Ahhh, nothing better to do at a quarter ‘til midnight and Hawaii’s lockdown still in effect. Don’t get me started on that either!!!

I suppose that is similar to the age old question of why one parks in a driveway and drives on a parkway.

So I am going to take a guess that the bucket truck belongs to a tree service. Cable and power company trucks are marked. Tree services don't have to be.

I'm glad it missed you Paul. Getting hit by even an empty bucket like that could be really bad at that speed. I really enjoy your videos.

Brilliant!

Seriously though . . . glad you're OK. Watch out for trucks carrying dirt or gravel too. . ..
