Open seat very just...

Hi.

The previous owner of my Forza 300 told me he had to change the shock absorber on the seat. It's the first time I've had a bike like this but I think the seat lifts very little. To take out the helmet that goes on the bottom I have to take out the other one first and it comes out very tight. Is this normal? It is a force 300 from the year 2013.

Yes, the seat does not go up too much, hard to access the lower compartment..., It's the same on mine...

Well, what a mistake!

I'm about to remove the shock absorber and see if I can open the seat until it rests on the front (where the ignition key), you know what I mean.

Won't work, already tried that.

You would have to make a two part hinge or some other work around.

It does not work, been tried before, the lip of seat end will hit the gas tank lead or the top of that area and can't go further...., so I've been told.

I was looking at it this morning and you're right. Design flaw, impossible to open anymore. Too bad!
