I totally agree. Unfortunately, I have witnessed some young kids in the act of beating and kicking a chained up puppy, which they described as "fun". Until that complete mindset is changed there will be cruel people. I often wonder if children are born with this savage delight in hurting animals and others, or if they learned it. I have NEVER had a desire to hurt the helpless, so somewhere along their learning path those children must have lost their way.
