Really nice, are some reflective tapes higher quality or more wear / weather resistant that others ?

Haha...Some may think you a Ghost! (especially If the on-comer was partying)

Kidding aside, I'm very glad you're sharing this with us! You can't be safe enough, but you certainly can give it a go with whatever resources we have. So cheers, I tip my White lid to you!

Agree, I'm for adding lights, reflective tape, hi-viz clothing and anything else (within law limits). Being seen is a big concern for riders so why not draw a bit more attention to ourselves and our bikes? Even at night while your scoot sits parked by itself (briefly I hope), it Will be seen. So cheers for taking those extra measures.

Sorry  I must add, that I'm Not a fan of that Full vertical strip going down the center of your windscreen. I think a smaller piece would have sufficed - a piece either at the top, middle, or bottom.

I'll ask you Go back...Look at your photos again. Cover the center strip with your fingers. Do you see what I see? --> Plenty of Light, Plenty of Tape - White Is really "popping!"
Now cover 3/4 of the center strip leaving just a 1/4 of tape showing - where You would want the tape to remain. IMO, that 1/4 piece is enough.

Over all, it's a great idea and a great job done! and....I love yer Scoot color! :D
Be safe first and always ~WN~

Absolutely nobody can fault you for that! Also, did you paint the fluorescent yellow on the windscreen?

Inoplanetyanin, may I assume that you wear a hi-viz neon yellow jacket as well?
Then while seated you've accomplished a hi-viz vertical column to oncoming vehicles. Imagine that! I Gotta admit, that's clever - Yer BIG, Yer BOLD!
Will they see You now?
"Your Chances are, Your Chances are, Awfully Good...." (NKC) :P

--> seeing yer pic, it's growing on me ;)
