Torque Settings

Post by Mark65 »

Hi,
I have a Forza 300 2019 and its started shuddering with less than 5k on it, its now put away for the winter and I wanted to clean it all out inside as I assume its the belt dust from riding like a granny, would anyone know the torque settings for the clutch, variator nut and the big 41mm one and also the outer casing bolts?.
Its a good scoot but my wing mirrors vibrate while riding so i had to put a piece of plastic in there and that cured it and now the fuel flap wont open when i press the button unless I press the plastic just behind the hinge, so far not impressed on the build quality, yes it would be fixed under warranty but its a day taking it in and if they agree with the fault its another day or two while they fix it so i would sooner do it myself and service it at the same time.
Thanks if an any one has the torque specs.

I never torque those small fasteners.. a good hand tight to snug is all that is needed.

I hate torquing bolts, I am dyslexic and sometimes put the wrong numbers into my wrench without thinking.

I hate it when it goes tight, tight, tight, oh shit now loose, thread stripped. Or I snap the bolt off. Chinese steel is made of rust they pull out of the rivers according to one documentary.
