Nice late Nov. ride

Post by fish »

Caught a sunrise on the way home from coffee this morning.
In the 30's today, but dry.

As I sat with my coffee and helmet at my sidewalk table this morning, an hour before sunrise, a man came up and said, " You must live around here - because I see you every day, and I wonder - are you waiting for somebody, or something?"
Pointing across the street at Dino's, I replied, "No, I come from Clark county, for coffee."

Let him sort that one out.....

Storms are coming your way. Enjoy your rides while you can. You may be shoveling snow shortly.

The first pic reminds me of an old Marlboro TV commercial or magazine ad. ;)

Now I remember . . . that famous "Marlboro Country" ad series.

Actually the first and third pics remind me. The scoot sits there like a horse on the plains during a classic sunrise waiting to be ridden . . .. 8)

Here's an old one from the '60's. Times do change.

You do know that almost every 'Marlboro Man' died from lung cancer, don't you? Yes, come to Marlboro Country, your local cancer center.

:o  :o  Thanks for the laugh Mel. Sad and probably true. When said "your way,"....So FUNNY! (Sarcastic humor can be funny. I dig it as long as no one gets hurt. And in this case....they can't. They be did already :D in Marlboro Country) Those are commercials folks - good 'ol oldie goldies ;)

I took my bike out yesterday and it was great! Who would have thought that in almost December the weather would be so nice! I was trying out my new knockoff GoPro, trying to find a location where it did not vibrate so much. I tried it attached to the bike by the windshield but it picked up too much vibration. Next, I think I will try on the handlebar. I know those are attached to the forks, which can dampen the vibration. I will let you know how that works out.

Perhaps something like a chest harness? Another way of attaching a camera other than by head or helmet.

This place sells various types of straps and equipment.

As an added note I haven't purchased anything from usagear.com so can't offer any comments about their service. But they do offer a good listing of products that you can get general information about and you can always shop where you find the best deal. Or maybe there's a camera shop near where you live that you could try before you buy? . . ..
