ABS Buzzing

Post by Yorkie150 »

Ref my last post on odometer problems.....

I disconnected the battery while undertaking odometer settings problems ( now resolved ) and reconnected when completed.

Took the PCX out for a good test run today and noticed that the when the abs light goes out I hear a small buzzer sounding ....just after I start up and ride away ....

didn't do this on the way home the other day ......Im not using the idle stop thing.

If you look further down the page you will see 2 topics on why your ABS is buzzing . Give them a read it will all become clearer.

I read the 1st post as you had not noticed the buzz until you disconnected the battery and did work, as it should have been there from day one. Ah well, seems all is well and as should be?

yeah , I never noticed the buzzing until I disconnected/reconnected the battery...then gave it a good run...Perhaps the battery charge level was low as the scooter had been stood in a garage for quite some time prior to me purchasing it....I have now fitted a connector direct to the battery for an Optimate charger / conditioner so hopefully all will be all now :)
