Hi, I'm Rob Hill from Staffordshire UK. I have had bikes off and on since I was 16 and I'm 66 now! Last big road bike was a Yamaha FJ1200. I have ridden all sorts including off road and trials. I haven't had a bike for several years and I fancied a scooter because of the under-seat storage.I have bought a Honda Forza 300 2019 model and I'm loving it! I find the ride a bit harsh but I like the light handling. The "twist and go" works surprisingly well - it's just a bit odd having nothing to do for your feet.

Hey, Petr here, from Czech Republic... first time i got my scooter was some chinese crap I got from may friend, which got into non-rideable state over the winter and with technical inspection coming up, I just gave it to someone who has time to get it working :) and bought used-almost-new PCX instead :) so far great :))

Wotcha, people. I'm Martell, I'm 29 years old. For my 30th, I'm treating myself to a brand new Honda PCX 125.

I'm in a band, trying to make our way to some sort of dizzying heights, and to fund that, I work for Deliveroo. have done for the past 5 years! I've been on a Suzuki Address 110 for nearly 4 years and done nearly 30,000 miles. It's become a right bone-shaker, so I'm really looking forward to this new purchase. I am going to need some assistance as I swore to myself that I would learn how to completely maintain this scooter in a self-sufficient way as I refuse to have the arse ripped out of me by Honda to keep the bike under warranty, a big lesson I learned from my time with Suzuki.

I will have many questions for you guys, i'm sure, but from my research, I think I have a fairly good idea of how to keep a PCX in good nick.

Nice to meet you all!

Hello scooter people!

I purchased a 2014 Forza about a week ago and I discovered this forum while researching my new scooter.

I've been riding since I was 14 years old when I got a '79 Honda Express moped. My friends and I bombed around town all the time on our mopeds so as soon as we reached 16 we moved on to motorcycles.
moped-army-dc8112124bbdfbf6e01cec890458fac6.jpg
moped-army-dc8112124bbdfbf6e01cec890458fac6.jpg (30.88 KiB) Viewed 180267 times
My first motorcycle was an '83 Honda CM250. I went EVERYWHERE. Everyone else was on CB750s and they made fun of my "little" motorcycle. Eventually I joined the CB750 club, the first one a '79 Limited and then an 80s 750F with a Better fairing and bags.

When I went to purchase my third CB750 I asked to test ride a used Honda Valkyrie while I was waiting. I was instantly hooked! That machine was AMAZING! Powerful, stable, and comfortable we rode this motorcycle two-up camping all over the country, racking up about 40,000 miles.

Desiring to get another lightweight motorcycle for around town and shorter trips I purchased a broke down '88 H-D Sportster because it was the only Harley I could afford.

It was so much fun that we bought a second Sportster so my wife and I could both ride. I purchased the only NEW motorcycle that I will probably ever own, a 2004 XL1200R Roadster that I tricked out as a pseudo cafe racer/sport bike. I loved the brutal power delivery and the way it looked.

Having thoroughly drank the Harley-Davidson at this point I traded the Valkyrie for a 2000 H-D Road Glide that had been given the full Ultra package. I eventually added about 50,000 miles to the clock.

As the result of some medical issues I became uncomfortable with the big touring bike and I started dropping it a lot, so it left the stable. Two Sportsters went down to one when the old one went to a young friend who needed it worse than we did.

So I'm down to the Sportster Roadster, but the raw brutal power delivery that I used to love is now rattling my brain everytime I ride it. Eventually I realized that I loved the idea of that Sportster and I hated riding it.

My father passed down to me his 1982 Honda C70 Passport (Or as it should be known, a SuperCub). I cleaned it up a bit and did a bit of a restomod and started riding it. I suddenly realized that I could ride without pain if the bike doesn't shake and vibrate.  As an old 3 speed 70cc scooter it is a hoot to ride, but woefully underpowered for city traffic.

In the insanity of the post Covid used motorcycle boom my Sportster is suddenly worth 50% more than it was a couple of years ago. I started to research light and middle weight motorcycles with an emphasis on zero vibration and plush suspension.

The new Super Cub was an early option, but they are hard to find locally.

I had been thinking about the Honda Forza as a replacement for the Sportster for a couple of years. With more research I decided that it was definitely the next bike. After losing out on two purchase attempts I drove 6 hours to bring this one home. It only has 1,500 miles on it, which feels brand new to me.

In a week I have ridden 3 or 4 times as much as I ride the Sportster in the last 3 or 4 years. I love the lack of vibration, the nimble handling, and especially the light weight when moving it in and out of the garage. I'm a motorcycle cycle rider again!!

Well, I guess I'm a scooter rider now, but I'm happy about it. The Forza reminds me of the Honda Express of my childhood and the CM250 of the high school years. So light and effortless to ride. The Valkyrie and Road Glide were awesome touring partners, but it was always an effort to ride them. Right now a zippy little scooter like the Forza is just what I need.

The next steps include removing the hideous plastic rear fender and getting a cell phone mount. Does anyone have any recommendations? I want a clean and tidy phone mount and a minimalist license plate holder.

If I can get my wife convinced we might just end up with his and hers matching Forza scooters, or maybe the new SuperCub.

If you have made it this far in my two wheel journey you must be very bored indeed. I'm glad to meet you and find this little corner of the internet.

Anyone have suggestions for an aftermarket seat for a 2020 PCX150. Only 5' but anxious to start riding more than parking lots. Stock seat has me ( and my husband) tippy toeing.

Hi, I am Kaspars from Riga, Latvia. I am riding brand new PCX 125 since May. This is my second scooter, I started with Gilera Runner 125 (2006) three years ago.

I liked it very much. I gained experience and decided to switch to a new model, but it is not possible to buy a new Gilera in Latvia. Due to the coincidence of different circumstances (Honda salon close to home, models available for viewing and test drive, price discount, etc.) I chose PCX.
My daughter (8) adores riding a scooter and this actually is the most convenient way to get around the city. Love it!

Hello Guys,

I am David from Singapore! Just acquired a 12 months old ADV150 after comparing it with Nmax 155. Quite a good ride and enjoying it every bit.

Hi folks,

Not strictly a new member, just lapsed. I think I last posted back in 2017.

Since then I’ve put maybe another 5,000k on the scooter. I have a few other bikes so don’t pile on the ks on the PCX.

Only mods to date are YSS shocks and a K&N filter.

I have been reading the big bore threads with interest. I am toying with buying a 2021 4-valve PCX160 and taking my 2016 PCX150 off the road whilst I put a Takegawa 170cc kit on it.

Interested in hearing from any other Australian-based members on where you sourced your kits from.

Thanks,

Adrian

Greetings. New here, but not to the riding community. Old guy from the US, that wants to gather information on the PCX before jumping in with my wallet. First and foremost question...2020 or 2021? versions, since both are still available.
Thanks in advanced for letting me use your Forum to gather information. I can't think of a more reliable source. I'll try to be civil and hide in the corner until I have something to share.

Hello, my name is Daniel and I live in LasVegas,NV. I purchased a brand new 2021 pearl white Honda PCX earlier this week onTuesday, day after Labor Day. I previously was the owner of a 2012 Yamaha Zumba 125. I purchased the Zuma new in 2012 and when it got stolen a little over a week ago it had 89,500 miles on the odometer. The scooter is my only form of transportation, I use it a lot.

I have a problem I hope you can help me with. I would like to put a rear top case. I cannot figure out how to remove the rear body panel or even the center punch out. Can you please direct me to instructions on how to go about putting a top case on this 2021 Honda PCX 150 ( no abs) . Thank you.

Welcome to our forums Daniel, great intro thanks. Congrats on choosing a 2021 PCX 160, I have yet to see one in person.
I took a quick look on YouTube in reference to mounting a topbox, here's one video that should be helpful. Take your time getting the plastics off and you'll be good to go! Then show us when it's mounted :D

Hello to all. My name is Warren, and I live in Tucson, Arizona, USA. Not a newbie, but back to the forum after years away. (What an incredible resource!) Bought my PCX 125A in 2011, and commuted & explored on it until it hit 50k miles. Bought a 2015 Forza for a little more long-distance muscle. It's just turned over 35k on the odometer. In the "Gallery" sections are my earlier posts, and I'll start adding again as the miles roll by. Two friends and I just finished a 8-day 1800mile trip to Grand Junction, Colorado for the "Beat the Heat" scooter rally, riding two Forzas and a PCX150. I'll post some shots.
Glad to see the Honda scooter community is going strong!

Hi All,
On all my motorcycle forums I go by 'oldgoat'. I'm 82 and live in a suburb of Montreal, QC, Canada. Been in the same house for 53 yrs. Originally from the UK. Was a Pharmaceutical Research Scientist all my working life. My wife of 56 yrs recently passed away & I haven't come to terms with that yet.

I bought my 2015 PCX150 last week with 6700kms on it. Love at first sight. I had been looking for a scooter for a while but due to a worn out right knee I knew a Burgman 650 and a Silverwing 600 would be too heavy for me. Seriously considered a Burgman 400 and a Piaggio MP3 (of any size). I have previously owned Burgman 650 & 400 & Silverwing 600.

Was looking in our local scooter ads when my eye caught sight of a PCX. Never heard of them or seen them before, but as it was only a mile away I went & looked at it. End of story.

I have already ordered a new seat from Phuket and a new Givi/Kappa tall screen locally. Have installed a Givi Monokey box on the back and now need to install wiring (fused of course) for my heated jacket liner & gloves, for October riding up here.

I still have my 2008 Spyder GS SM5. Had it for 9yrs now but fancied a bit of leaning in corners again.

hello there!

i bought a 2013 pcx in june 2021, had it a couple of weeks then it got stolen from outside my house in the middle of the night. anyway, to cut a long story short it was recovered by the police with extensive panel damage so i decided to renew them all with all new panels from thailand (genuine honda) for £135.00 plus shipping, arrived in 8 days but then i got covid. i'm ok now so i'm going to start putting it together next week with the help of the how to guide courtesy of this forum.

if i bought the panels from honda uk it would cost well over a grand, but from the far east £135, welcome to rip off britain!!!
if i get stuck i'll shout out for help.
regards and ride safe, Dennis

Hi everyone, I am Jim and live in Somerset, and have just bought a 2015 Forza 300. Now in my late 60's I have been riding since I was 16 and started with Lambrettas. A bike accident in 2018 saw me right-off my VN 900, and to get back on bikes bought a 125, but it was just underpowered, which has lead me to the Forza (not my first Honda) :)
Keep the rubber side down
