ACF-50 prep for winter riding

Post by fish »

Piaggio Liberty 150i
Removed the plastic heat protector, and applied ACF-50 to the muffler and engine and pretty much every metal place I could reach, after my oil change today. (Obviously never on the brakes)

Remove 2 screws and pop off the plastic cover.
I use a rag and a soft bristle brush to work it into tight places.

Smells funny for a ride or two, no worries.

Thanks for bringing that product to our attention.

I've never used it before . . .. :?

So my curiosity prompted me to do a little research on how the stuff got so popular without me knowing.

Here's a great vid on the application and results from Missenden Flyer. Good luck with the rides as Autumn creeps on the horizon. :D
