Love my Seat Mod

Post by shamu25 »

Cut out the hump on my 2017 pcx with a Dremel and added a custom seat cover by Cheeky Seats. Very comfortable. I am 6'3".

You are looking at the foam in the stock seat. I did nothing but cut out plastic hump.

Every other seat mod that I have seen involved adding something to keep the foam from eventually pushing through that hole. One of our members used rivets to hold metal straps in place. Others have used a plastic sheet of some sort before adding the foam. I am guessing that fiberglass could do the trick if it is held in place somehow as well. Without something to keep it in place, your weight will eventually force the foam down through the hole.

And easy way to make sure those holes stay plugged:

I’ve use these west system kits several times, so simple to use. No real skill required
