Do you not trust your authorized Honda dealer to run a diagnostics on it?

I had a recall from the local HONDA dealer, the LED control unit had to be replaced, so i thought that this was the best oportunity to let them take care of the problem.
When i got the bike back, the LED unit was replaced but they couldn't find the fault, the simple reply from the mechanic was: there wasn't any fault stored in the memory, i drove it but couldn't find anything wrong...
It's the same problem i also encouter with my cars, you do a lot of research, swap parts like hell, can't fix the problem and the last resort is the stealer which nicely replies "we couldn't find anything" and oh yeah here is the bill for the troubleshooting.

My next thought is the fuel pump and filter, just ordered it, we will see...

Cheers, Ronald.

I didn't check the TPS yet Fish, i want to start with the easy stuff before taking all the plastic off ( again :( )
Is this the original belt. what do you mean by igniter? spark plug or coil.

Have you had a look at the air filter? (could not see that mentioned in the thread)

You say stuttering at constant speed, is this any speed? When you inspected the belt did you take any measurements or just a visual check?. Has your maximum speed decreased?

It stutters at any speed, mostly when engine is warmed up, i've checked and measured the belt, within limits, maximum speed did not drop, i even checked the engine with belt removed to rule out the drive train, same issue, you can feel the engine stutter running on the center stand.

As you say when warmed up, could be the air temp sensor (this is seperate from the TPS)

Is the spark plug a good colour? I think I would try checking the coil.

Could it be that the fuel tank is not venting, Still would have the coil checked as the problem occurs when the engine is warm.

If it only stutters at constant speeds, then the fix is easy....

Just keep twisting the throttle back and forth!!

Only partly kidding, but I feel after all this trouble you've gone thru, you should be able to describe the problem with a little more detail now. Exactly when does this stuttering happen and/or NOT happen. What does it feel like? Where do you feel it? Does it feel like clutch pads slipping, by chance? Probly not... but ya never know, I guess.
