It is against an Ohio law to wear earplugs when riding.
Columbus is considering changing the law.
Nevertheless, I'll be wearing them again tomorrow.

I think I have broken at least one law a year since I have been alive-bad buggers both of us.

As long as you can maintain "situation awareness" and be safe I don't see any problem with wearing the ear plugs. Deaf people drive all the time . . . they adjust and adapt and at the end of the day are probably better drivers despite their challenge. You can keep an eye for "what's wrong with the picture" but the two things that are hard to avoid are the driver that nails you from behind and the pilot of an airplane in distress that decides to use your piece of the road for an emergency landing zone.It is against an Ohio law to wear earplugs when riding.

I would like to see a ban on tinted windows though. When I'm riding I like to be able to see if the driver of the other vehicle at an intersection is looking at me or somewhere else. Some will say that "night driving" makes that ineffective but as the Stone's said "You can't always get what you want but if you try sometime you find you get what you need".
