I have a bit over 5000 KMS (about 3000 miles)

Does your PCX have 7450 miles, or did you just convert KMS to miles.....I ask because if it actually has miles, then it's likely from the USA, as all Canadian models should be KMS

The one I’m looking at has 12,000 km on it. I converted to miles.

I've got about 13,000 miles, and it runs like a clock.

Given a private sale, if you show up with cash and a helmet (and the right endorsement on your driver's license), the seller should let you take it out for a ride. This would tell you all you need to know about your comfort level with the machine. Good luck.

One of my bikes has 13,000 miles on it and the other has 6,000. (I bought one in 2012 and the other in 2014).
Both are 2013 models. Both run like a clock. Both have just about every upgrade I could put on them (except a BBK, because I don't think they need it.)

7450 miles is not much on these bikes. They are Hondas.

Thanks everyone, appreciate the response. This is at the dealership so it will be certified and I can see how comfortable I am with rolling it around and it’s weight, balance etc.

Anyone heard what the most miles anyone has on a PCX motor/drivetrain? I'd be curious to see the longevity of these compared to say the Helix.

My 2019 has 200 miles so far. Just another hundred to get the first oil change, add a windscreen and a pigtail for the battery so that I can hook up my Battery Tender without taking the battery out of the scooter.

Currently, in the UK two numbers on the plate indicate the year of the vehicle. 67 in this case does not indicate 1967, however!

The third and fourth digits are numbers known as the ‘age identifier’. These are changed every six months in March and September. The easiest way to remember this is to think of March as the year, and September as the year plus 50. For example:

• '15' was introduced in March 2015 and '65' in September 2015
• '16' in March 2016 and '66' in September 2016
• '17' in March 2017 and '67' in September 2017
• '18' in March 2018 and '68' in September 2018
• '19' in March 2019 and '69' in September 2019

In other words, if a car has a '17' plate, it was registered between the beginning of March and the end of August in 2017, and a '67'-plate car was registered between September 2017 and the end of February 2018.

Easy, huh! Unlike here in the States where there is no age indication on a plate. But, we can get personalised plates pretty easily. My car (in Colorado) had a plate : A LIMEY That was taken when I moved here to Florida, so am getting UK LIMEY - which was available! :)

Interesting. So what would the plate be if a rider had an antique ride, say a WWII motorcycle with a sidecar? I saw a picture of one once that someone in the UK rode.

Ah yes the good old dated reg plate, it’s really done that way to make people feel a lower class and get you keep up with the Joneses, omg your car is three years old, next door has a new one, quick acquire more debt so you look successful and well off and can let everyone know by (insert your choice of social poison here). A car or bike is a tool to most, unfortunately now with social media everybody is being guided towards looking good to everyone else no matter the cost. The Uk has and is changing for the worst.

What possible reason does the UK have for showing the age of a vehicle on its license plate? Maybe I should not expect any sense from a country that drives on the WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD! But I still have a fond spot in my heart for the Brits, and I do care for the Queen (but not so much the rest of her family).
