I finally got out to do a review of the Malossi Exhaust for the PCX150 2013 model. I have put about 1000km on it so far and am very pleased. :D
I bought my exhaust at scooterpartsco.com out of the US, but I noticed it was readily available in Europe. They just would not ship to Canada.
Here is a link to my video below.

If anyone knows how to post the picture as a link as opposed to the text above, would you please enlighten me?
I am a very new at this. Thanks! :D

Let's see if I can explain this right. How to add a YouTube to one's post:

1) In the reply message box type your message (as usual)

2) When adding a YouTube, click or tap the youtube button up above the message box (Below the Img and URL button). When you tap it, it will look like this:

3) Presuming you've already chosen a YouTube to add to your post, go ahead and Highlight the letters and digits of that YouTube link Using only those that follow the = sign.
Next you cut and paste them into the middle of the two youtube brackets (seen in step 2 above).

4) For my example I chose a YouTube with these letters and digits W5xTHZPB1wE that followed the = sign. When I'm finished with my post, I click the submit button and.....
Viola! Like magic my video appears like this:

P.S. Remember you can always print this info out for later use. Hope it made sense and works for ya'll :P Happy Trails!
-------------- --------------- -------------- --------------- --------------- -----------------

I just watched your video Mike, great job! I too like the rumble of the Malossi without its' innards 8)

Anyone come across any decent priced Exhausts for the newest model PCX yet?

just need something that makes the Bike a little louder, not ott...
too many Cars around here that pull out or people running out in the road etc as they can't hear me.

A louder exhaust pipe won't make the slightest difference.
Your brain is the best defence if used properly.

If this one fits on then i'm going to get it...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-PCX125- ... 27fe8ef8b2

Want to get one badly, but i'm not 100% sure whether the newer shaped ones are 100% different to the previous models.
(if anyone knows what exactly is different....?)

Emailed the Seller to see if they fit on the newer 2015 models so just waiting on a reply.

I will be interested too at that price, otherwise I plan to save some pennies for the Yoshimura system for mine.

That Leo Vince exhaust is not legal for road use despite what the seller claims.

The bit that states

Code: Select all

note: For use in the UK - MoT's no problem + road use OK (with db baffle!)
??

Yep I saw that but that's just something the seller has pasted into the gumf copied off the Leo Vince product page.
If its the same MotoGB which distributes Sym scooters, the guy is a bit of a chancer.

Without a homologation certificate the exhaust is not legal in the UK.
Before purchasing, contact your insurer and tell them you want to fit a non-homologated race exhust and tell them the exact model.
Its essential to do this before rather than after, you don't want to be on the insurance database as someone who has had an insurance policy cancelled.

Can't speak to the legality but 400 miles on my Malossi and could not be happier. Just the right amount of CF and quality satin finish.

I don't think thats available here in the UK though... and I don't want to be spending too much,
if I do get one internationally then shipping will cost a bomb, plus customs charges.

There is a very nice sound that is achieved by removing the inner pipe that is held in by a spring clip on the end.

Thanks, have not tried that yet, i will. its a very nice sound also when its inserted, acc to friends. Sounds much more "present" than the std muffler but not obnoxious.

And as far as shipping, mine came from italy and shipping was not outraegous at all, thru scooterpartsco......
