To Whitenoise's search for a reasonably priced blower - I have the Ryobi One blower (and drill and impact driver and circular saw and recip saw, and obviously a number of batteries). It works quite well for sweeping hard surfaces; I expect it would blow light snow quite nicely. You might look like a jelly doughnut after the process, but it would probably work fine.

Washing off just dilutes the salt and drives it into nooks and crannies everywhere.
ACF-50 properly applied is the right way to combat salt.
And properly applying it after you've rinsed the bike down with cold water and dried.

Poor Homie . Can you dig out "Always the last to know" by Del Amitri for him?
There are other similar products and in the UK there are professionals who will come round and do a right good job of applying them for a very reasonable fee.
2yous, yeah, I like it. So where are ya gonna find a vinyl copy?

George, thanks for the sharing links. Wait! you're the tool guy right? Did we discuss old tools at some point in the past?
Anywho, I saw that the charger's and batteries for both models are Not included. Shazam! More money! That's the way of the world.
I'll take a look, home depot is nearby. Cheers!

Look into the tool systems that all use the same battery. I have the WORX tools: which give me a portable power sprayer, a leaf blower, a sawzall, cordless drill and other tools I have not purchased. Good quality....the power sprayer with a mixed simple green solution is really good on the pcx running gear, wheels, etc. The blower is also a lot stronger than my old Black & Decker.....
