STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS
Let me get straight into the point.
We have perfected the standalone ECU for the PCX125/150 LED models. Wiring is the same from both models, I've checked. Brand is familiar, APITech.
Let me explain a little. The problem with making a standalone for the PCX125/150 is that the stock ECM handles both starting and recharging the battery. Therefore, you cannot completely drop it. APITech went the other way, it will let the ECM start the engine and recharge battery, but that's the end. Everything else is fully controlled by this 9.0 APITech standalone. Which would mean that you have complete control over your engine's behaviour. I don't know about you guys but I would choose a standalone over a piggyback any day.
The picture is from my friend's PCX125 LED, with a Char Mo 61mm piston kit, stock camshaft, Forza 300 exhaust, 31mm TB, CBR150 injector with the standalone installed. The difference between tuned and no tuned by the standalone is like night and day. One thing that is amazing about this is the fact that it can control the injection timing too. Which means that if you are smart enough to know when the intake valve opens on a certain crankshaft degree, you can change it so that the fuel is sprayed exactly during the intake valve opening duration or so. Remember, since it is a standalone, it has full control of everything.

Re: STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS
Price for 1 model will be around 200USD (that is included shipping to your exact location).
And yes I am selling it, but I do not have a lot of stock, since (1) it is just been out of development and officially in use and (2) I don't have a lot of money to stock it. For those of you who have doubts about me, I've dealt with Oyabun and that adam guy from Israel.
Send me a pm or e-mail bachphamthien@gmail.com. I will try to answer as fast as I can but please understand that I have 3 bikes on my hands currently so I may be a little slower than you want me to be to reply.

Re: STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS
Could this ecu be able to control a turbo engine. Does have control over ignition timing?

Nothing for the OWL?
Re: STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS
Full control over ignition timing at every TPS and RPM range.Gil wrote:Could this ecu be able to control a turbo engine. Does have control over ignition timing?

Turbo? If you know how much fuel you need to compensate for the added air sure.
Re: STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS
If you have the wiring diagram for your scooter, send it to me and I will work out a wire harness for you.chicaboo wrote:Nothing for the OWL?
Re: STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS
I'll email you the wiring diagram later.
Re: STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS
I saw the wiring diagram for your scooter. It is problematic.chicaboo wrote:I'll email you the wiring diagram later.
Because your scooter uses 21 pin and 12 pin connector not 33 pin. I don't think I have the male and female for those 21 12 pins lol. Guess you're out of luck. I'd need to ask my guy first.
Re: STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS
It's no problem for now. Who knows, my Dobeck EJK may work out as a long term solution?
Re: STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS
Since I found out about this standalone, anything other than a standalone is strictly short term, except for those guys with scooter that has the 21 pin ECM. Those guys with the 33 pin ECM will eventually find their way to a standalone because let's be honest, a piggyback will never be as stable as a standalone.chicaboo wrote:It's no problem for now. Re: STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS
Someone has to make it first...
Re: STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS
Well I did it first for the pcx125 led
I'm planning to make the wire harness for all other esp lines pretty soon.

Are you collecting base maps from your friends as you go?
Re: STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS
I can make a cfg file I think.
But as usual, no 2 bikes are alike. Because I use different variator compared to yours, that means different load. That means different fuel adjustments.

Re: STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS
I think ballpark within 10% of average would be fine, just so someone can start the engine.
Re: STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS
The base map is for a stock pcx150 led.
After a few days the standalone is working perfectly. Still needs some adjustments to the enrichment system after cold starting but overall perfect.
Let me state again that a piggyback will never be stable as a standalone. You cannot control the ecu 100%. But if that's what you have then well we must accept it then.

Re: STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS
I don't even have a piggyback, I've just got a fuel interceptor.
There's a reason why I didn't buy a piggyback right now.
There's the APItech you're adapting, and something else on the horizon.

Re: STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS
I don't know what an interceptor is.
If it's some sort of resistor to change the injector pulse width it will be interpreted as a faulty injector by the ECU if you change it too far. The owner of the bike in the picture used a Takegawa controller in the past. Runs funny as shit. It runs 1 way during a rain, 1 way in the morning, 1 way in the afternoon, 1 way in the evening. All with the same setting. Hence the need for that standalone.

Re: STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS
For an interceptor you have to disconnect the stock EGO and then it reduces flow to the injector with resistance, yes.
The Jaycar interceptor I made was much more versatile, also being able to offset the signal from an EGO, like the WB2 & LC2 do.
Unfortunately it's gone missing, so I took a punt on the cheapest thing available to tide me over. The Honda CB/CRF guys love the Dobeck...
