First pic of the new PCX.

Hi all, I've finally gone and done it and joined the twist & go clan! Been riding bike for most of my 50 year life including 9 years as a despatch rider in London but had a spell away when I moved North (away from the sun and heat to Rochdale!! )
Always liked the PCX so as Honda deals are really good now, (weather wise not a good time to buy but made financial sense) I went on got my first NEW bike.
Getting close to 100 miles on the clock now and loving the ease of riding. Quite weird after a geared bike I must admit.
Anyhow, just popped up into the hills to get my first pic earlier, (and to make it quick as it's just above freezing here!!
Love my open faced helmet, I can view more on my rides as i'm going at a much more sedate pace and enjoying the views as opposed to everything blurred at 80+mph like previous bikes. (Do I sound like i'm getting old!!) Down side being wind, rain etc but I can live with that. Must get some proper winter gloves mind, These ones are struggling at near freezing point....but so is the rest of me so maybe i'll stay in till it warms slightly.
Don't want to risk chucking my new steed down the road on icy bits.
Only mods so far are the essential (to me anyway) topbox and a bit of pinstriping. (Its actually rim tape but I couldn't get it on right so put it to another use!) Thinking of going the flouro yellow plasti dip route on my rims but i'll have to try it and see if it goes.
Anyway, nice to be here joining fellow lovers of Honda's finest PCX and looking forward to loads of trips I've planned.....when the sun comes out and winter goes!!
Ride safe guys!

Why have you blacked out with pic editor the lower parts?

This is an all new 2016 bike and this apart from what I've done is as it came out the showroom, no editing!

Ok, it looks as if the front has been blacked, no problem. I like the stripes on the bike, not so much on the visor, but as everyone says here, it's your bike, so Have at it!

I'm in Bury (just 5 miles from Rochdale, dear reader) so if I see a flourescent striped PCX on my travels I'll give you a wave!

Yeah, was going to be from padgetts but Rochdale could match the deal and it's only 10 minutes from home so made more sense!

Welcome, nice to see another North West rider ;)

I nearly bought mine from Rochdale Honda and looked at Padgetts to but my local matched a deal so like you it made sense going more local.
