Little Milestone

Post by Geoffers »

This morning my PCX's readout clicked over and read 140.1MPG (UK Gallons)

I'm 5'3 and 140lb. My commute involves a lot of riding at 35mph - it's ideal for the 125.

Yes, yes, I know that the readout isn't the most reliable and perhaps is a tad optimistic but still, 140 MPG !!

I weigh less than you do but can't beat your mpg--but I think you are talking about a 125, no? Most of us over here have the 150.

I get over 100 mpg--not sure how much over. I like to keep the bike at about 45 mph--but often do 50--and very often do 35.

Anyway, you are champ of the mpg watchers.

Terrific mileage from both of the above! I'm at 2.2L/hundred kilometers on my 3 tanks so far. Need to get the fuelly icon added. Hmm, I'll do that now.

Ok, correction, 4 fuel ups=2.2l/hk and that is 128.4 Imperial MPG, 106.92 US MPG. I'm very happy with my 150 :D

I will question its accuracy, i got 61.6 kml which converts to 173 MPg UK.

It may be calculating the US MPG which will be around 145MPG as 173MPG is a bit off *shrug* :? should be roughly the same though? oh I dunno, I'm off to drink more coffee.. lol

Is that fill up to fill up or over a journey? Sometimes the gauge is a bit out from new fill up till it settles down a bit but tends to get accurate as the tank empties and miles fill up.
