1st 100 miles and all smiles !

Post by switta »

wow i don't even want to ride my other motorcycles now , this new PCX 150 is awesome !!! my other scooter handled like a shopping cart
this thing is so stable and nice and quite !!
my only complaint is the center stand hits when cornering hard and it scared the crap out of me o_O it may have to go ? and the seat bump sucks !!! so i ordered and new seat form powerbypcx.com . thought about modifying it ( i do upholstery work ) but want to keep the stock seat original in case of resale someday ?
i would also like to add lights next to the headlight you know the two spots that look like they should have lights ?
the valve adjustment schedule seam to be a bit odd for a Honda and a pain to get to but i guess i can deal with that .
overall a very happy new PCX owner !!!!

Welcome to the forums, Dave!

I've almost needed a change of pants after hitting a bump mid-corner, and whacking the side of the centerstand hard.

Adding lights next to the headlights is possible, but you'd have to add the light fixture itself. The area where the light goes on the international models is just solid plastic, so you'd have to drill it out, install a light socket and light, then wire it. It's a hassle.

What seat did you order? :)

Dave-
Do you live in the U.S. and if so how much was the seat with shipping and handling??? I just unbolted the hump and took it off - so much better riding position - I need to buy a new humpless seat!!!

That's a really cool looking seat. It looks way more comfy than the hump too.

The problem with that contoured seat is that if you are tall and replacing the humped seat so you can sit further back, then you wont be able to. But if you are looking for style and comfort its nice! Look forward to the report when its installed.

I love my PCX (125) too. I am also considering the saddle change that you are going to do, albeit with white stitching, and look forward to your opinions when you've installed your new one. The price including shipping seems reasonable provided the quality is there.

Will you post a picture of the seat installed?
