I am impressed with your passion for change. Motorcycle accessories are never cheap.

Did you keep a running total of the amount of money you put into this scooter?

Nah, i'd guess 1500? I never put a budget on a hobby......i just spent until i was done with the mods that were called for to get it right in my mind.....all the work was done by me, it would be a lot more expensive if done by a shop. But on all the handlebar bling, the appearance mods, and visual stuff, I was amazed how cheap the stuff from Thailand is , versus other bikes and cars I'vedone. All the stuff was $35 here, $50 there etc. etc.

Being that I own a 125, I would love to have been your neighbor and got to negotiate on your take offs.

Do you have a seat for sale? Mine has a small hole in it and I don't like the small "back pad" as I am 6'0" and it pushes me forward. It is not a big deal for me, as I don't ride this bike very much anyway, as it is for my girl friend and she is only 5'5".

You took the windshield garnish off and put a black one one, I would be interested in the price on the take off, as mine has a clip missing.

Heck, lets have a rummage sale at your place, problem is I only live 5,000 miles from you, living here in Seattle.

I can't get PM's yet, but if you wanted to send me something, send it to larryinseattle AT Yahoo dot com.

Happy New Year!

Hey Larry, Happy New Year! You too Glen!
Bad tiding news, the 2011 seat Cannot be swapped out with a 2015 seat, so no trade offs there. What a way to start off the New Year right?
Maybe Glen has something that'll work? Not sure though, cause there's a lot of body changes between the 11 and 15 model years. Keep the faith

A word of caution with the dipstick, I tried an aftermarket one and the center portion that you actually read the oil off of eventually rattled loose. I was very fortunate to notice it was loose before it rattled off into the crankcase, which may have been a disaster. So, check your dipstick and make sure the inner portion you read the oil off of isn't loose or capable of coming loose.
Mine actually disappeared overnight. No cap or dipstick remains......came off somewhere on highway.

Just a few miles after it most likely rattled off, oil sprayed all over the exhaust, began smoking, melted right saddle bag. Had no problem like this earlier in the day's travels, so have to assume it rattled off as I was returning home last night.

That part is really terribly designed if any amount of rattling can remove it. Not only are the stock shocks weak, but the local roads are terrible!

One or the other, can't be both!

Loctite and eyes under my saddle bags and I hope for the same. I'd at least like to know how much bumping translates to = X amount of dipstick threads.

Hey Glen, in response to your volo rear light, I noticed you said it flashes also while you accelerate but didnt notice that in the description. Is that something you figured out manually or ?

Hi Glen, have been following your thread with interest. I was wondering if the stock 2015 seat might fit a 2013 and if so do you have either the stock seat or another you'd like to sell? I too am in Fort lauderdale.

Interesting, I like seat #7 but just went to their site and didnt see the Carbon option, just plain black. it does look thinner, any pros and cons vs the stock seat?

Good Deal Glen,

I have Seat #7 on they way, it was great to see a comparison.

Sitting a little lower? Sounds great to me.

Does the seat bite into the underseat storage at all?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

I'd like to add the LED fork lights you have. Where did you find those?
