What's the mayo/mayo substitute for anyway? Turkey, gravy, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, stuffing, brussel sprouts, pumpkin or apple pie a la mode. Am I missing anything?

I expect turkey sandwiches later in the day.
Often a sweet potato (yam) dish of some sort - ours is laced with maple syrup and a dusting of chipotle pepper. And goodness knows what sort of appetizers to completely kill the appetite for the main event.
It is a strange holiday. Giving thanks to a bountiful deity, and then engaging in gluttony. I know it is tradition, but it still seems a bit off.
