X-creen spoiler on a tall Givi windshield

I recently installed a new Givi D1130ST tall windshield (purchased from Tour and Ride) on my 2015 PCX150.
It is a big improvement over the stock windshield; however, I would like to be able to fine tune the air flow
and change it as needed for cold or hot weather.

The MRA X-screen spoiler sounds like an interesting way to fine tune air flow....if it really works.
There are 2 types of X-screens available: the sport (smaller) spoiler and the "Tour" spoiler (somewhat larger).

The Tour model looks like it would provide a lot more wind / buffeting protection than the sport model.
Have any of you tried the X-creen ? If so, how did it work out for you ?

I have one on my V Stom and it helped with the buffeting but didn't stop it?

I run the big givi through the winter and small givi during the summer. That big givi just blocks to much wind to use during the summer. I also take a big hit in the mpg dept.with the big givi.

Wifes '15 PCX has the taller Givi, and I don't think it could take anymore weight at
the top of it given how tall it is and not having any other support bars holding it. Seems
to be at its stress limit already. Just my opinion.

We have (Had??) the tall Givi windshields on our 2013 PCXs. They work great, though I am just a tad taller than the windshield, so I do get a little buffeting from the wind. I was thinking about adding an extra extension such as the x-screen but wonder if it will put too much strain on the top and cause it to crack at higher speeds. Since I am repairing the bikes, now might be the time to determine if this would be a realistic add-on. Keep in mind that the top area is relatively thin and it flexes a lot at high speed.

I think that you are right, Mel and Dan. The top area of my D1130ST tall Givi windshield is somewhat flexible.

If I can find it, I plan to try attaching a Laminar Lip that I used on a Ducati sport touring bike that I
once owned. The Lip uses strong 3M velcro "dots" for attachment. That might actually stiffen the upper
part of the windshield.

I considered buying Saeng "Micro Swirl" edging for the windshield. Then I remembered that it didn't
help much when I used it on a Honda ST1100 sport touring bike that I once owned.

The D1130ST windshield works much better than the stock Honda shield, that's for sure; however,
in my case, it would be even better if it lifted the airflow just a couple more inches.

Hope I can find the Laminar Lip......

After much discussion with the Laminar Lip folks, I decided to try this
10 inch (actually 14 inches wide) Universal Laminar Lip to install on my
Givi D1130ST tall windscreen. I ordered the Lip today.

I'll let you know how it works out. It can be returned within 30 days
for full credit if desired.
