Read somewhere here a fellow's using the same method I quickly settled on with my Forza.
I put the side stand down to dismount, then raise it up on the center stand.
I do warm it up for my before sunrise rides - which means I cannot put the side stand down or the engine dies. But I can fling the ankle over the tank flap one time to get started.
I often hook my foot on the tail of the scoot when dismounting even when the side stand is down - and sure would not try it with the scoot on the center stand - or with a top case back there. Likely pull the scoot over.
Age issue I guess.
I wish the Forza was a big wheeled SH300 step through (like the Kymco People 300i)...but happy to have the Forza since we're apparently lucky to have any Honda scooters in the USA.

It was me, and yes, it's an age and flexibility issue. For me, mostly caused by my back.

Don't start it till you're ready to go and as soon as the engine is started its ready to ride.

The oil flow rate when idling is significantly less than when being ridden.
Also because during idling the engine warms up slower it spends more time running cold which increases wear.
Prolonged idling can also damage the exhaust system.

It doesn't make any difference it's all within the design parameters of an engine but is frequently picked up by the supercilious or the overly anxious
Go to Assen and see what an engine can do, without oil, without warming up and at full throttle for hours at an end.
