like touring and dual purpose bike .. it helps when it's raining ... less cold .. if you had an accident ..direct impact to road rail .. good handguard will protect your hand just in case you didn't let go the bike .. also protect from debris
for touring using pcx .. you hand feel more comfortable with no direct wind to your hand/fingers ..

maybe make a little bigger so put mirror inside and just do 'all in one'

A wee bit too close in a fall. I hate hate hate broken glass! It slices dices and cuts! Nearly took my finger off back in the day! They sewed it back together. No love for it at all! I vote to keep those babies as is they're sharp enough

Way too big for a scooter. Not possible to have a screen with them as they stand a long way from the handle bars.
