Finally...I'm a PCX owner!

Joined this forum two years ago as a new "scooter" looking for a ride. After learning the ropes and riding my Kymco for the last two years, I finally convinced my better half that scooting would be fun to do together. He got his permit so I gave him my scooter...and I bought a 2013 PCX 150! It comes home on Wednesday night...can't wait!

Thanks for all of the postings and information you have all listed. I've been living vicariously through all of you and now I get to join the PCX party!

A big congrats. I'm sure you'll enjoy every bit of it. I too have just picked up mine today and enjoyed it on the ride home (except for the bit where I nearly screamed like a little girl

on the freeway with large gushes of wind and trucks flying past me, all whilst with little experience since obtaining my learners permit). Happy scootering!

Well I think you will find the PCX to be a great little scooter. To each their own, but for us we found that the tall Givi windshield made riding so much better. We also changed out the seat, due to the hump in the back, and we added a tailbox to help with storage. Now it is ideal for us. We can go to the grocery store and carry multiple bags, one large and one little under the seat, and one in the tailbox....and, if we go on both scooters we can bring home a lot of groceries.

Scoot is red. I bought it used but so few miles it is just like new! Added the bike and my hubby to the insurance yesterday. Now just patiently...

...waiting for tomorrow night to arrive! Now that the kids are grown, it's time for Mom to have the fun!

OK, I hope this works. Trying to upload a picture of the new scoot. Everything is stock...but she's all mine! Lots of cold and rain since she arrived but I have been out twice...such a great feeling!
