Would be great if someone made a solid satin black cable cover under the handlebars. I hate the chrome piece.

Yes it may be a good idea to paint it black, what I wanted to do initially, is to break a can color black and orange leaving a can of chrome

well from experience the best solution is to actually sandblast the part. It makes it course enough to use the plastic adhesion promoter, so you can prime and paint it. I may just order an extra piece to experiment with.

Try crushed glass or walnut hulls. They aren't as harsh.

I would be more aggressive and plunged into the acid to cancel service because chromium past sand or shell nuts is too abrasive and if you want the carbon bonded
this is a good support and I would not touch it.
