We got outta class for 2 days. I stayed up till 4am having some snowfun as long as half the other students as well. People were making sleds from anything:couches, chairs, tables, cookie trays, and even skim boards

I didn't do the couch sleighing. And the mustang might not be for much longer. Getting a new car soon. And there was a Mardi gras masquerade that night on campus so that explains the snowman. Yesterday the entire top half was melted. Sure it's gone today. It's 70 here today for high and for rest of week

Yes crazy wind. I'm hoping during spring break(stars next Wednesday last for 3 weeks) it will get to 70s again so I can take a day trip to the highest peak in louisiana(a short 500ft tall hill)

Atleast I did go on my scooter. But I guess I was on a logging route. It sure was scary. My rpm limiter was maxing out at 60mph and the 18 wheelers were still passing me. And it was a 55 speed limit road. I actually just started getting in oncoming lane just to make it safer for them to pass me. They usually like it when you do that anyways. I usually try not to make an enemy of them

That just incinerates my derriere when truckers behave that way. So many are fighting for spacing laws, BUT let them pass a bike of any kind and they pull in close.
No, not all. The majority do.
I glad you had a safe trip though. I gotta meander down yonder and cruise the long bridge with my new ride.

If I read it correctly,he moved over into the oncoming traffic lane so they could pass in their own lane. So what's the rant about pulling in to close? Or are you referring to them running up your backside before moving into the left lane for the pass?

It was courteous move to do that but it was also dangerous. Had it been seen by a LEO it probably would have resulted in scooter getting ticketed :(

Ratster, you are right. I was just imagining his situation and have witnessed 2 similar situations with fatal results that I allowed to spurred my unjustified response to his post.
I'll defer the LA LEO response to Logepoge as to refrain from another rant.

Sometimes you have to worry about your own well being over the law. If it's a life or death situation and my decision was safer, then I'll do that instead. And I'm referring to their overall dangerous behavior in general. These loggers are always speeding and tailgating. And the first one passed me illegally. No blinker and not a passing zone. And the fact that I was already speeding. These guys don't care about the well beings of others. They get paid by the job, not the hour, so they rush everywhere they go. If you try to call one into the police they simply tell you they can't do anything about it. I can see you defending this as a trucker, but see it from my point. These moron truckers around here just fly around ignoring the well beings of others and no one cares until someone gets killed.

You're right,I'm a driver. However I won't make excuses for inconsiderate and dangerous steering wheel holders anymore than I will for a squid on a crotch rocket.

How am I a squid on a crotch rocket? I'm driving legally and with courtesy and these moron truckers can keep from tailgating. You can't defend stupidity. Sorry but you can't
