in 1000km

some of my friends say that riding faster than 30 kmph is not good for engine. can anyone please tell me how it works.

Not faster than 30 km/h? Maybe with 50 cc scooter :)
On 125 it is recommended to not drive faster than 80 during first 500 km and then continuously raise the maximum speed. At 1000 km you can ride with full throttle.

I think that even full throttle is okay in very short bursts. I wouldn't for more than five to ten seconds at a time. Mainly you're wearing in the bearings. Vary your rpms. Do NOT ride a constant speed as you don't want to create that type of wear pattern on your bearings.

The most important thing is to not maintain the same speed during break-in. Vary your speed and throttle constantly.
