Help with variator slides?

I have a '17 PCX150 with 11K miles. I am replacing the rollers with 13.5g Malossi's, replacing the slides and also the driven face spring also with a Malossi. The original belt measure within .1-.2mm of new specs so I will not replace it.

My question related to the slides. From Scooterpartsco.com I bought his recommended slides pieces (2015-AK).

The factory slides came off/on easily and the ramp plate moved up/down very easily. The new 2015-AK slides had to be pushed with pressure. With the new slides installed, the ramp plate gripped the movable drive face so it did not easily move in/out on the drive face boss.

Scooterpartsco says that tightness is OK and it will not cause any issues and will quickly wear in. That does not seem correct to me. Any enlightened advice will be greatly appreciated before I button it up.
