2016 vs. 2017 PCX 150?

Post by dewman »

Hello,

I am considering a purchase of a used PCX 150. The 2 I am considering are either a 2016 with 1K miles or a 2017 with 8K miles. Would like advice from the group on the differences in the model year (i tried to look it up but could not find a compare) as well as any comments on the miles.

Thanks in advance,

Are they both in the same condition?

Personally I'd go for the lower mileage one as it is basically new...

Yes I agree, I just wondered if there were any engine differences or lights, features, etc added in the 2017 year?

There are no differences between a 16 and a 17 except color.

Hi all, also am looking at another 2017 that is a little less $$ but it has a significant crack on the right fairing. Any idea if that plastic piece is replaceable and if so how do i discover what the price might be? Does it just snap in? Thanks in advance.

It's replaceable, but parts are hard to get in a timely manner these days. Price depends on which specific piece you're trying to replace. I'd still go for the 2016 model.

Agree. Plus you don't know what is damaged other than the fairing

I would get the 2017 because the newer the year, the easier to sale when you no longer need it.! :)
