Honda pcx front caliper

Post by paulmclaren »

Hi all.

Where is the best place to buy Honda pcx parts from?
There's places like the uk that are a bit pricey but abroad seems cheaper but that soon looses it's appeal once you see the shipping costs.
My front brake pistons are dodgy as hell on the font of my scoot.
I managed to free them earlier are they were nearly seized in there.
Upon putting them back after lubing there areas etc they have gone stiff again and im thinking of getting another caliper.
The pistons in the brake caliper are really expensive considering there aint that much there to say the least but where would be the best place to have a look and order from?
And has anyone on here got the full front caliper for the 2016 scoot available?

Thanks.

Have you tried ebay or motorcycle breakers for a good second hand part?

i think you missed to grease the pinguides. When they get dry the caliper gets kinda stuck in the middle and the weel doesn't rotate properly

Here's a video that shows you how to do a proper maintanance (including the guide pins)
