How comfortable is the Forza 300 for various ride lengths?

Post by Silversmurfer »

I was discussing the Forza with someone yesterday which said that while it was very comfortable for short rides, due to a soft seat, it wasn't as comfortable for long rides due to poor ergonomics.

So from those of you who have one, how comfortable is the Forza 300 for 2-6 hour long rides? Is it uncomfortable for long rides or something you can ride all day long?

Which Forza, mk1 or mk2?
They have markedly different seating positions.
As with all ergos, what fits one person may not suit another.
I found the Forza 300 mk1 comfortable enough for my needs, only rode it a very few times for longer than an hour and it was comfortable enough no matter how long I rode it.
BUT, I grew to dislike the seating position which has the seat low relative to the floorboards.
The mk2 has the seat higher relative to the footboards.

2020 version, or 350 Forza which should be arriving shortly.

How big is your ass? How strong is your ass? Is your ass male or female?

I have a MK2 Forza and find the ergonomics to be exellent for 7-8 hour rides. I do stop to stretch, eat and drink, but I suppose most people will take a few breathers on a 8 hour ride, no matter the bike.

83cm from crotch to floor

In which case there's no data available because nobody's ridden one yet.

I find the seat on my 2020 Forza not so comfortable as the 3 other bikes I've been riding on but I'm getting used to it more and more. But the sitting position is very good and I'm 1.86 and 115 kg.

I found my 2014 Forza uncomfortable for my 5 foot 6 body until I tilted the handlebars down a few degrees.

It felt strange at first but I grew to like it.

I also added the TALL Honda screen.

My longest ride was from Hope, BC Canada to Dawson City, Yukon, Canada and back. 6400 km over 15 days.

I would ride across Canada if I had the money.

2014 Forza I removed the back rest . I ride up to 400 K Per on some days . The seat can be replace with after market one from Thieland . Then again you can also get a local shop to redo it . The driver seat is as big as one off the 1980 goldwing . The foam could be redone to help it out . Mostly come down to how big of person you are and the year it was made. 2018 onwards seat are far better .

I have a 2018 mk2 Forza 300 and I was out for 3hrs yesterday continuous riding and it wasn't until after I got home that I realised I hadn't got square arse or any uncomfortable feeling. Aching in the legs, but I ride feet forward.
