I don't have the scooter yet (getting it in a couple days) but I already know that I'll probably want to get the larger screen and definitely want a top case/storage bag. I have a couple questions about these accessories that I was hoping you guys may be able to help out with.
1. Regarding the "SR1163 MONOLOCK REAR RACK" once I have this installed can I basically fit any GIVI Monolock storage case on it? It's not clear to me what size GIVI cases I can mount on this thing.
2. I have my eye on the "1163DT SPECIFIC SCREEN TRANSPARENT" it seems to be the largest one which is why I'm leaning towards that model. I have heard mostly negative things about the "Universal" brand screen which is why I'm looking at the GIVI.
3. Outside of GIVI and the OEM Honda top case (which looks fine but I'm not ready to drop $300 for the complete set with lock, are there affordable yet functional storage options for the 2019 Honda PCX that won't break the bank?
I appreciate any and all feedback!

Re: Advice on GIVI accessories
I can not give you advice on specific Givi products for the 2019 model, you'll have to look up what fits your year, but for Givi products in general I have a 2013 PCX that I purchased the tall windshield and tailbox for when I purchased my bike way back when the bike was new, and I have had no problems with any of their products. They are sturdy and dependable, and I am glad that I have them on my bike. It is my understanding that the mono tail rack fits all of the Givi mono boxes, and somehow even Shad boxes fit it. It may be that Shad sends an adapter plate with all of their boxes, but I don't know for sure.
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150
Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

Re: Advice on GIVI accessories
If you want to use a Givi Topcase, buy the SR1163 model specific rear rack and your desired topcase.
The topcase comes with its own mount plate.
Ideally you should fit a Monolock case around the 30 litre size, larger ones are too big and heavy imo.
The 1163DT screen is huge and you'll need the specific mount kit for it.
The smaller screens don't need a mount kit, they just fit straight on.
Also consider Kappa, same quality, lower prices.

Shad stuff is good too.

Oh man, good looking out regarding the mounting kit for the screen! I didn't realize it. It seems pretty hard to find a place to purchase the KAPPA and SHAD brands (I'm in the USA) Do you have any idea how difficult it is to use the mount kit for the larger Givi screen?gn2 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 04, 2021 5:34 pm If you want to use a Givi Topcase, buy the SR1163 model specific rear rack and your desired topcase.

Mounting kit? Maybe things have changed since I installed mine many years ago. My mounting kit involved mirror extenders so that the mirrors could clear the wider windshield. That was the whole "kit". I wonder what is different now.

Re: Advice on GIVI accessories
Hi there! Did you get your bike yet? Can we see it?
I'm in the U.S. too and I have purchased from both Shad and Kappa right here in the USA.
Shad: https://www.shadusa.com (Florida)
My experience with them? Can be slower than expected on delivery depending on item. They also sent me the wrong item on another delivery. They have Excellent products and Fair pricing
Kappa: https://www.tourandride.com (Nevada?)
My experience with them? Fair pricing. Excellent products. Delivery fast and I got what I ordered
Over the years, I've also purchased Givi and Fabbri screens, but that's another topic heh
Hope this helps

Re: Advice on GIVI accessories
Yep, I got it like a week ago but haven't been able to ride it as much as I'd like. I'm slowly getting the hang of it though. I'm trying to learn how to "lean" into turns and how to turn better in general. I guess it will come in time. I ended up installing the Givi kit and purchased the Kappa top case since it was cheaper. Makes it look dorkier but I kind of need the extra space. I'll upload some pics when the weather clears upWhiteNoise wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 12:03 pm Hi there! Did you get your bike yet? Re: Advice on GIVI accessories
Hello everyone
Old guy here getting his first PCX125 next week. I already ordered a Givi 30L top Box and just wanted to ask 2 quick questions to the forum. Is the Givi SR1163 still the recommended rack to use, and where to buy one ?
Thank you in advance for your advice !
