Taking a Break from the Forum

Post by Old Grinner »

Please Note,

I'm going to be taking a break from the forum.

It's been great over the past few years participating here and I wish you all the best.

I'm OK. No problems.

I may be back but just not sure.

That said the new PCX 160 (or ADV 160 when it arrives) will be a tempting item on my wish list.

Special thanks to White Noise and Maddie Dog for all their hard work. :geek:

Best of health and best of riding adventures to everyone. :D

Hey OldG, this is a bit of a surprise!
Is it because of all the damn snow we've had? Yeah, that's it! Yer just waiting till all this crap melts and riding season Truly begins.
I hope I'm right. I'm not.
(I know you said you're ok, but) If you're not up to par, I get it. Get better. I've not been well these past few years myself.
So Embrace this break and refresh yourself. We all need that from time to time.
About you: you're one of the best. Creative, funny and always quick to help others. You Will be missed. My hopes will remain HIGH that you Return in the very NEAR future.
So you know, I've been communicating with Honda. Seems they'll be "kicking it up a notch" and bringing it on home to Us. You know what I'm talking about....that 160 PCX and ADV. Sure. I have my ways. (kidding folks, but it could happen!)
So yer Lollipop dangles. Ice Cream Cones too (if you prefer).
See you in Spring --> Early Summer .... perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.

I thank you for all you've done, shared and said on our forums. You are a Gentleman, and the Best Kind of fellow Rider.
Here's To Life. Be Safe, Be Well, & Always Strive to Be Happy! ~WN~

WN,

Thanks to you too! :D

I've always enjoyed time spent on this forum. Great bunch of colleagues and riders from all over the planet.

I'll bet in the not to distant future they will have astronauts riding rovers on Mars making preload adjustments on their shock absorbers.

On a more serious note, I'm still trying to get a vaccine scheduled in my neck of the woods but good things take time . . .. I'm doing fine otherwise.

On the bike front, I would indeed like to replace my 1200cc bike some day with another machine but not quite ready yet. That said it will definitely not be another rocket ship or a big heavy cruiser. A PCX or ADV are on the list of possibilities for sure. I even considered a Honda Metropolitan just for rides around the waterfront. The thought of a Grom crossed my mind as well. I'm glad the new PCX 160 slated for our shores will be "White". When I look at photos of my old 2017 I do miss it. Thankfully Honda has done some work on padding the seat better.

Time will tell.

Spring is just around the corner and those warmer riding days will be a welcome experience.

Here's a great idea . . . a home away from home . . . scooter style!
