Well, as grandparents we support our grandchildren. Part of that involves buying the Girl Scout cookies, which helps the troops, supposedly. This year we were REALLY disappointed with them, though. The order arrived today. We hurriedly opened one of the boxes, which usually contain a full load of savory cookies. Imagine our surprise to find only 15 cookies in a box!
Then we looked at the second box. 14 cookies...and the boxes were sealed, so none fell out.
Who is this money helping?? Aside from leaving a bad taste in the customer's mouth, I don't think the scouts themselves are leaving their customers happy and trusting that they are giving their money to a worthy cause any more.

During this COVID pandemic I think businesses and providers of goods and services everywhere are struggling. Some more . . . some less.
Wasn't S'mores a cookie?
I've actually seen improvements in some products lately and conversely I've seen some merchants decline in ability to fulfill orders in a timely fashion due to supply chain deficiencies and backorders.
I'll be glad when this pandemic is over and I hope we don't have to deal with another horror show like this one anytime soon.
