ACC wire under the seat?

Post by Rickjds »

Hi all, I’m looking for a switched (ignition) wire under the seat of a 2020 PCX ABS. It will probably drive a relay powered by the battery with a fuse to power light loads (LED lights, charging accessories, etc.). I found the ground junction in the right front area under the seat. Any advice would be appreciated.

So, the 5A accessory outlet in the glove box is not suitable for your needs?

I would bring a trigger wire up from the rear for the license plate light. Since it’s going to a relay, it doesn’t have to be any type of high amperage. With the shop manual you can figure out how to intercept the wire along the side, Running to the back. That’s what I did on my Xmax.

the accessory outlet in the glove box isn't permanent live ...no good for charging as it powers off when the ignition is switched off .

Yep, but that is what I thought Rickjds was after re: ' I’m looking for a switched (ignition) wire'
